I have some greenish yellowish circles on only one of my stones in the tank.....
could it be algae? growing only THERE? its a bunch of circles varying from like 1/16 of an inch to 1/4 and they werent there yesterday
I am doing 25% water changes everyweek....
and last Thursday I did a 25% water change followed by another 25% change on friday because I had a problem of high nitrates and now its fixed....its around 20ppm now....
I never ever ever ever ever washed tht stone since I had it in my 10 g like 7 months ago.... and since then it has always been wet on tank water....

Its most likely algae, caused by your high nitrates a while ago. It should go away.

Yeah, I get algae used to get algae like that on the glass wall, but my pleco took care of it. It's not a problem.

They love certain kinds of algae but don't eat all kinds or just algae. In addition to the algae (and algae wafers) they'll eat flake off the bottom and regular veggies (I give mine an occasional piece of zuchinni or lettuce).

Be careful what kind you get - Common Pleco's get huge!

I have the same problem. My sandstone is like a algae mansion.

Clown plecos stay small. I added 1 with my 2 common plecos, and they all got 5 algae wafers each a night (they ate ALOT ), and the clown hardly grew as opposed to the commons.

ohhhh..... I m really thinking about a pleco but still not sure
I want some different fish but SMALL cause I have around 20 fish on my tank and 6 ghost shrimp 3 disapeared but they are probably hiding cause no fish showed interest on them......
I was thinking about having some guppies like temporary guppies like get 10 or 20 as feeders for my firebelly toad and have them on my fish tank to keep them alive........... but I dnt knw I really wanted something different tht wont grow too big....

Bristlenose and chocolate plecos also stay relatively small.
