I have a 10g that I just populated and posted about in the beginner section. I'm now getting ready to put in some plants. I read though the sticky, which was very helpful. But can I get your thoughts on the plants I'm planning?

I have 1.5 watts/gallon florescent, planting in aquarium gravel. Fish are white clouds and corys. Temp is 71F. Also have lots of driftwood where I will attach the javas. I want to keep it fairly low key--no co2, etc. Will the following work and/or do you have better suggestions before I order online?

Wendtii (Cryptocoryne wendtii)
Banana Plant (Nymphoides aquatica) (have one, adding 2 more)
Tiger Lotus (Nymphaea zenkeri)
Java Fern (Microsorium pteropus)

Thanks!

If your not going to add CO2 you may need to think about other ferts. Liquid, something like Flourish....just may get better results!

I'd be open to adding fertilizer, as long as it doesn't stress the fish or throw off the tanks bios.

What about the plants listed? Do they look ok?

Those plants should do ok with your lighting. Growth will be slow but that is ok.

Thanks Rich,
Do you have any other recommendations? I'll buy online, so if anything would grow better in those conditions, or might be more interesting, I'm all ears...
