Are Roseys considered a goldfish? I have heard them be called Rosey minnows, and rosie goldfish. I have only seen them at about 1.5 inches long. does anyone know their adult length?
I consider them minnows...
Adults aren't that big...not more than 3"...and slender...

3-4". I think they are a color morph of the fathead minnow. Definitely not a goldfish.

mine are about 3". They are considered coldwater sometimes too

They are a coolwater, native to North America if they are indeed a color morph of the fathead minnow.
