Hey guys, i just saw these sharks on youtube and thought they looked pretty cool. I did some research and found out they are brackish fish, but can live in fresh water. Does anyone know if i can raise them strictly in a freshwater tank? I have a 120gal tank that i think would be perfect for a couple of them.

It's my understanding that their health deteriorates over time the longer they're kept in FW. Unless I'm mistaken, as adult specimens they're actually SW fish not BW.

Yeah they get huge open sores if kept in FW. Sometimes fatal

They are born as fresh water fish and as they get older they move into brackish waters and finally out into the ocean and live out their adult life as marine fish.
