Here is what I was thinking:

1 Dwarf Gaurami (already have)
1 Blue Gaurami (already have)
8 Harlequin Rasboras
6 Glo Fish (Have one already)

And maybe 5 Bronze cory. I have never kepts corys before so I don't know. And the corys would put my stocking over...

ideas, comments, suggestions?

-will have the Aquaclear 30 and possibly another filter running, plants, etc.

Get the cories, they are great little fish, work hard eating all the leftovers and just think you could be going through what I'm going through, wouldn't you love that. Seriously though I have the peppered cories and they are busy little guys in your tank, fun to watch, and they get along with everybody. They go up and down all over the tank and shoot to the surface every once in a while and then shoot back down. I have 3 and they hang out together and although I've heard people say you should have at least 5 I have never had a problem with these guys as a threesome. They are a little over a year old now.

IMO, the addition of a school of larger Cories, such as Bronze, will make it overstocked.

Another issue I see is the Blue Gourami and Dwarf Gourami together in such a small space. They can work well in larger aquariums, but 20 gallons isn't large enough; I have no idea how they are cohabitating a 10 gallon! If you are keeping the 10 gallon running, you should consider leaving the Dwarf Gourami their, or possibly rehoming the Blue Gourami as a 20 gallon is somewhat insufficient for an adult.

I agree with everything Maestro said. You could do a small school of pygmy cories without too much strain on the bioload, but the aeneus will hit about 3".

Like I said, I don't know much about corys. So pygmy cories would be better? Should I keep the number at 5 or just do three?

As far as the gauramis, they love each other. Both are males. I believe the one gauarami is a blue gaurami, the doof at Petsmart told me it was. Someone here suggested I get another gaurami....

Mother said I can only have ONE tank in my room if I have this 20 going.

I find it hard to believe that a Blue Gourami isn't stressing the Dwarf Gourami to death in a 10 gallon. A 10 gallon is just enough for a Dwarf Gourami, but a full grown Blue Gourami gets up to 3 times larger than a Dwarf, and really requires a larger aquarium than even a 20 gallon.

You may have the species mixed up:

This is a typical Dwarf Gourami:

This is a typical "Blue" or Three-Spot Gourami:

Note that Blue Gouramis have a longer body shape, and three black spots along the sides of their bodies, while Dwarfs are have a shorter body with the absense of three black spots.

That dwarf gaurami is DEAD ON. But that blue one doesn't look like mine. Let me see if I can find a picture...

Yeah, doesn't look like the blue gauramis. I was told he was a blue one, this is from Petco mind you!

That picture is a male blue gourami. Nice fish.

Also, question about this tank....I added the gravel, and have been running the tank for a few hours. After 24 hours has gone by, can I take the filter off my 10, plug it up on the 20 and add the fish to the 20? And I'll of course have to monitor for ammonia and everything...but it should be fine right?

really? even w/o the three black spots? I mean, I have had them both in that 10 gal. for......oh at least the last 4 months or more.

Yours looks a little more like an opaline color variant than a blue, but it's still Trichogaster trichopterus. There are many color variants of the 3 spot. I am very surprised the blue and the dwarf have gotten along so well. Hopefully they will continue to do so in the future, but I'd have that 10g ready for backup.

Yes, transferring the gravel, decor, filter, and fish at once is the best thing to do.
