changing filters

As of last friday (11-27) I added the AC20 filter to my 10 gal tank. How long do I need to run it before I can remove the original filter unit (aqua tech)

I would say 3-4 weeks is the best.

...or, move your old media into the new filter...

You could also just move the filter pad from the 10 to the 20.

i ran my biowheel and canister filter together for 6 weeks. I originally planned on going 4 weeks only, but i got busy with other stuff so i just let'm roll. I had no level bounces.
