Ronald Jenkees... In one word: AMAZING!

RJ is one of my fave independent musicians. He's a self taught, playing by ear, keyboardist that is a complete geek, a nice person from what I've seen, and a real inspiration to musicians trying to find their own way.

Cool sound there, although if im going to listen to anything electronic style usually itll be aphex twin, squarepusher, or boards of canada prolly.

Honestly I don't listen to much music, more often than not I pick up my guitar and start messing around when I wanna hear music. I'm not a very great guitar player even though I've been playing for about 12 years. Used to do a lot of recordings with different friends, we put out a couple home made CD's too, but I'm not about to post em here! (or anywhere else for that matter) lol

I do like a few independent musicians/small town bands, but mainly they're ones my friends are involved in(so they have similar tastes hehe). I was recently introduced to a band called Daikaiju (japanese for big monster, or so I'm told) who plays locally sometimes, they aren't unsigned, but they aren't top 10 either. They have an interesting surf rock variation sound.

I go for the more obscure stuff usually, instead of what's popular, geez popular music is horrible nowadays. I know of a couple good street musicians too that I like, but danged if I know what they call themselves or if they even have any recordings.
