Is there any reason that i shouldnt use windex on the OUTSIDE of my tank, i still havnt filled it up and would like to get the glass looking good before i do.

Use it on the inside as well.If you clean it off good it wont hurt a thing.Windex is how I clean my tanks outer.When you have water in it just spray it on the paper towel away from the tank to avoid getting any in.

Yup...you can use it on the outside of the tank...I do.

Just be careful when the tank is up and running that you don't get the spray IN the tank. I spray the paper towel I'm using and then wipe the glass with the damp paper towel...

I do the same as these guys. White vinegar in some water will work as well.
