Well, on a website that gives stuff away free, i found a guy who wanted to get rid of 2 fish tanks. he told me they were 33 and 25 gallons. i was excited. (they were actually 22 and 10 gallons.) But it came with a 10 gallon filter, 2 air pumps, some reptile stuff (giving it to my neighbor) and a reptile light that says it is 7% uvb. Is it bad? cause it would give me 60 watts over my 55.
Don'tcha just hate it when people exaggerate capacity?
LOL...congrats though! Not sure about the reptile bulb...might get too hot for a enclosed space...most of the reptile bulb are heat bulbs...

Its not a heat bulb. it is a uvb, which reptiles need so they dont get scoliosis. but i dont know if it is good for a fishtank or not.

Careful. Make sure they are fish tanks and not reptile tanks. Different glass thicknesses and/or construction methods. Reptile tanks are not rated to hold a tankful of water.
Not sure what the B is for, but metal halides have a UV screening glass on them to prevent fish/corals from getting sunburned. Food for thought.

I think my neighbor said its ultra violet blue.
The glass is 1/4 inch on both of the tanks, so its an aquarium.
