Do you watch any of these? I knew there was a lot of them but this list surprised me.

That's a big list!

I don't really approve of most of them...they're stupid, fake and boring...

Having said that, I do watch:

American Idol
Canadian Idol (when it's on - it might be over and done with)
Holmes on Holmes
How to Look Good Naked
Say Yes to the Dress
...and What Not to Wear (which isn't on the list)

...and I've seen the odd episode of several others (such as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, ...I don't watch Jon and Kate plus Eight, but I'm intrigued by the interest they've generated...so I follow the Entertainment news on them...

Wish they would break those into categories. I see lots of competition type reality shows like Idol and Survivor and lots of the real-life shows like LA Ink and 18 Kids and Counting. Totally different kinds of reality shows.

That said, I loved LA Ink and I'm currently watching season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance and season 9 of Dancing With The Stars.

Oh yea, loooooooooove Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.

That's a huge list!!! I love reality shows. Some of what I watch:

Big Brother (my favorite)
Survivor
Little Miss Perfect (which is my dog, Watson's, a/k/a lately)
Toddlers & Tiarras
30 Days
Airline (sometimes)
Hoarders
Intervention

Probably others, too, I didn't notice when I looked at the list or can't remember now.

Don't get cable. Nope, don't watch them. Mostly nightly news and funny OLD sitcoms like Gilligan's Island. Currently watching McHales Navy. Hey, we have a 24 year old with autism who likes to watch them with us.

Many of them are just rich, snobby people rubbing it in. Like the Housewives of GA...and all of those similar, The Gotti's, Tori and Dean (she's so ucky).

I have watched the Locator and Gene Simmons Family Jewels probably more than any of them. I like Gene Simmons.

I'm currently watching season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance.

I love that show.

Is American Football considered reality TV? I watch no matter what category it's in. :hmm3grin2orange:

I agree, football is the reality show I watch the most.

Im also not a big fan of watching other people struggle with problems that wouldnt phase a 6 year old, which seems to be the majority of them. Technically I guess GH is a reality show and I still watch that, the new GHA show is excrutiating though.

I occasionally watch an episode of Supernanny on Hulu. That's usually when my parenting ego needs a little boost. ;)

Yesterday the kids and I were discussing Jon and Kate Plus Eight - I don't watch the show (but have seen bits), but I am following the controversy.

We caught a recent episode that showed bits and pieces that hadn't made it on air from previous tapings...bit of a lame excuse for an episode, but there you have it!

I was watching what seemed like hundreds of people line up to have Kate sign her book after a reading...and I don't get it...and I certainly wouldn't make an effort to go see her, or have her sign a book...she hasn't DONE anything!

Okay - she had twins and sextuplets...she has 8 kids. That's interesting, but not celebrity.

And I certainly don't find the rest that interesting either. She's a nurse...so are millions of other women. She's not the only one to have multiples. She even had both sets taking fertility drugs - I disapprove of that - I think you should only get one chance at that - not two (or more - like 'Octomom').

She quit her job (understandable with that many kids) and then he quits his! All their money is from the show. So now what? No more show! Can they live off what they've made? Pay the mortgage? Alimony? How is he going to afford his floozies? :fish2:

My kids don't understand what I don't understand. In their minds she's no different than Johnny Depp. They're both actors.:sconfused:
