I love the theme! i saw a background at petsmart that was greek themed, and that would look AWESOME in your tank. I also thing you need some longer and more plants toward the back. Keep the pics coming,

i've seen the background you speak of, and i think it would look pretty cool too! It would hide some of the wires. Oh! btw, nice tank frizzle, i like!

LOL yeah, you just can't get a good shot at the angle to get the tank all in the photo without my goofy face in the reflection! Oh well.

I did just put in some long plants and a few foreground ones as well. Something corkscrewy and then a little redish one that looks like it flowers? Wow again, flowers underwater. Every day I learn something new. :)

Yes, I just looked it up. And the red-ish plant is rotala magenta.

Did you buy a four pack of fake plants? That sounds like the two plants (2 large 2 med) that i got.

No, I did pick some out at Petsmart when we bought the tank set up and filters and such, but I tried to pick out ones that looked the most realistic. It's a mix of a few fake and some real, til I can figure out which real ones I'll have the most luck with.

If you are looking for really easy plants to grow, try getting some anacharis (elodea densa). Seriously easy plants.
The tank is looking good!
