I've started a 10 gal tank with plenty of vegetation and hiding spots. I'm going to take a few fish out off my sis's crowded tank and place them into my tank. The problem is that A:) my choices are limited to the cherry barbs and neons tetras.(My sister let here mollies breed so there's quite a few in there...) B:) Both fish seem like they need a good group of fishmates.

I'm needing to take 2 neon tetras and 2 cherry barbs(both female).

So my questions are 1. Will these species work well if I add a few more of each kind. 2. How many should I buy of each type without overcrowding. 3. What should be the specifics of my tank to satisify them both. (Temperature and stuff)

What pH is your tap water? What pH does your tank hold at? What filtration do you have? What is or will your water change schedule be?
