hi
I hear of feeding finely chopped garlic to fish.
It doesn't have to be fresh garlic does it? can it be diced garlic in a jar?
if so does soaking pellets/granules etc in some of teh diced garlic have the same effect as fresh garlic?
thanks

I can't think why you couldn't use the diced garlic in a jar. It's the same thing, just a bit less work.

im just slightly worried there may be a additive that may be harmful.
i have used it before and it seems to be fine though.

I've used the juice from the jar garlic and soaked pellets in it.

Same here. I sometimes use the minced garlic in a jar. No problems.

I've used the minced garlic also. Except I used to feed by the filter and it would rush into the tank, and the rush of garlic juice damaged the tissue on a couple of my barbs I had at the time. But it took me a while to figure out why they had no luster in their coat. It was too strong.
