will the bristle nose or common pleco snack on some cherry shrimp? I realy want to get some cherry shrimp... I figured the pleco would considering hers almost 10 inchs. This is for when i get my 60 gallon set up.

no. not at all. i have like 2 ghost shrimp in with my BN. doesn't even seem to notice them. IMO a common pleco wouldn't even go for them.

Common Plecos need at least 100-125g to be housed appropriately, just to make sure we aren't doing anything rash here.

i know all about it, He came in my 60 gallon that i picked up the other day, I plan on trading him in anyway to pay for the shrimp. My general thought on the pleco is he might snack on any thing that fits in is mouth.

BN pleco's are safe with shrimp, common pleco's will eat them. I once saw a large (~12") common pleco at the lfs trap a feeder goldfish against the front glass and rasp it away.

I just sold the common plec to the lfs witch he is now in a 130 gallon display tank. Shrimp are on there way !!!!!
