Chief is easy to shoot pics of, he isn't real active! Esp. after feeding time. Hopefully this weekend I will get more of the black sand in there to darken the substrate up a bit and make it deeper for him.

Those are his mean eyes, novice! And he is as mean as he looks, I have to be real careful when working in his tank. First he gets fed, then I must keep one eye on him at all times because not only does he go after anything in his territory, but he associates my fingers with food and will come shooting up at me when I stick my hand in the tank. I don't know if he would actually bite me, but after hearing what he sounds like when he takes food from the surface I don't want to find out!

They are way cool, the only downside is no tankmates! Thankfully he doesn't hide too much so we can see him whenever we want.
