Greetings from Athens,
I would like to ask for your proposals to assist me setting up my (Upper) Rio Negro biotope as verisimilar as possible!
I have pterophyllum altum, corydoras adolfoi, corydoras rabauti and lately acquired dicrossus filamentosus and hypancistrus inpector!
My first question focuses on what live plants I can have, that thrive in Rio Negro (if there are some)!

My second question is about the decoration and especially on rocks and driftwood... As for roots, I can't find something from Amazon here in Greece, so I need sugestions about the appearence and colour of real Rio Negro driftwoods, so that I can replicate them with other... For rocks I have informations about granite, but goes the same as roots...

Suggestions and maybe photos and videos are much appreciated...!!!

Thank you in advance!

Sorry you have gotten little responses but Drumachine gave you excellent sources to follow thru with. You can "google" black water tanks and find many links there as well......or setting up Discus tanks. This will also give you much information. Plants are said to do well in black water so I would think about any would work for you.
