We were getting ready to BBQ over the weekend and look what was hiding in our BBQ grill cover!! This girl was huge! The pictures don't do her justice! I know it was a she because she had babies on her back! I think it's a wolf spider.

Offering him a Bud Light will keep him there. Try a Millers and he will leave.

LOL it's the biggest one I've seen here yet! We just let her go about her buisiness, I don't ever kill spiders unless they come in the house.

Beautiful. I love spiders, think they are magnificent creatures. My wife hates them though, so I can sympathize.

Yeah that is a wolf....we had tons of them at the lake house growing up. Those things are pretty ballsy, they will actually stand off with anything that trys to come near them including people. Every now and then I would get freaked as one would come out from under the seat in the boat and I would try to flip it out of the boat with the oar. If you moved fast they would jump or run...could never tell since they are fast. But if you brought the oar up slow they would raise their front legs leg they were ready to do battle. Maybe this is normal for spiders and just because of their size you see it...I don't know.
