ha i am letting people give some ideas that is what i mean. ha i will just listen to any suggestion. Ha it just so happened that the ones that were first happend to be contradicted i guess u could say. ha lets see there are so many fish what about silver dollars.

Silver dollars get around 8" and need a 75gal or bigger.

ok what about gourami wise. i dont like dwarfs. what else could fit because i like schooling fish then a center piece fish and then another schooling fish. So i was thinking maybe a gourami for a center piece fish or what other flashy center piece fish are there that get like 4 inches.

11-09-2009, 12:59 AM
sparkling gouramis, the other ones get to big and mean.

11-09-2009, 01:21 AM
Ok what about like a pearl or honey? gouramis are peaking my attention.

11-09-2009, 01:22 AM
honey gouramis would fit too.

11-09-2009, 01:25 AM
ok so i will deff look into species of gouramis. Anyway onto my schooling fish problem what would u do in a tank with a gourami. I know i want some type of bottom schooler so soem type of cories like emerald or something

11-09-2009, 01:27 AM
My belief has always been that if you have no idea what you want to keep, you don't need another tank :11:

11-09-2009, 01:35 AM
Ha i do have an idea but i want to go with other peoples thoughts to because they have other tanks that work well. ha and i need another tank :D

personally i like rasboras. they school great and they're fun to watch plus they're not too big. as for the bottom. cories would probably go great. as to what kind. i have no idea. do you know the subtrate you will be using? cuz if you do get cories then you should get something fine for them. and i suggest probably something really dark in order to make the fish's color pop out.

If you like colors, I would do something like:
