We have had to treat a tank w/ corys for ick. The cories didn't have it so far as I could tell but most of ours are albino. To be honest, we're not totally sure it was ick. We saw some white spots only on the tails of some of the other fish and just jumped on it to be safe.

I used the "full strength" dose of API's Super Ick Cure and had great luck. All the fish came out of it fine. I did also increase the aquarium temperature. What you do is remove any carbon (but keep the filter going), treat the tank, wait 48 hours and treat it again, wait another 48 hours, then do a partial water change and good gravel vacuum, and return the carbon filtration to remove the residual meds.

So, for example, treat the tank with meds tonight, Tuesday night, and on Thursday night do the vac, pwc, and carbon in the filter.

Hopefully, someone will chime in with more info. I know about scaless fish not doing as well with some ick treatments, but to my eyes, it looks like the corys have scales. When we were faced with it (recent), I tried searching the internet and didn't find any information one way or the other (maybe didn't use the magic combination of words). I'd feel better if someone who knows more about corys will chime in with guidance for you, but all our corys in that tank (7 albino, one pepered) did fine.

Good luck!

I hope it will work as well for you as for us. Our corys did fine and aren't full grown (so maybe more fragile than yours). I was concerned for them, but they had no problems at all thumbs2:

Corys are scaleless so follow the directions on your meds for scaleless fish. I dont know how they would handle salt.
