As requested, I took some pictures and video of the 10g tanks I just divided for our bettas. Previously, they'd been in 6 separate tanks ranging from 2.5g - 12g (the larger tanks also had platies and corys now living in other tanks). This will be easier to maintain and so far, they seem happy. Before I started taking the video and tapped on their glass, they were pretty much doing what they normally do -- lazying about the plants and dreaming of when it will be time to eat again thumbs2:

Thanks for looking!

How is the filtration working out? I can't see the video from here at work, but is there adequate water movement through the dividers?

I've thought about doing this to my 10 gal as well, but can't seem to find something that works out well and looks as nice as your set up.

Yes, they can see each other, but they don't really pay much attention to each other (once in awhile, but not constantly like I worried).

The waterflow seems to be really good. The screens are probably 50% holes, 50% plastic. If I look real close, I can see the plants on the far side from the filter moving slightly from the water flow and can see it across the top, too.

Once we are done w/ our 20g tanks (when the fish there are moved to bigger tanks), I will probably get rid of the 10g divided and have them in 20g divided, but for now, this works well and I'm free of the Eclipse tanks (and the 2.5g mini bows that I do like) until / unless we have a sick fish or a QT fish.

PS I also like being able to see the bettas kind of in a display all near one place, vs. spread around the house... The purplish red larger one is the first fish we got. H got him, Nathan, for me to cheer me up this summer.

Thanks, folks! It seems to be working out really well so far. We don't breed them, just have them as "pets" :1luvu:

Beautiful Fish!

You can tell they are happy, loved and well cared for.

Very nice clean looking setup.

I just know my Siamese Fighter would love to live in your tank and would be more than happy for you to be his owner.
