Hey all!
My neon blue dwarf gourami is swimming up and down, and up and down constantly in his tank against the glass.
I know that this can be a sign of stress, so I did a water test.

Is he just a weirdo/bored? He doesn't seem stressed aside from the swimming up and down. His color is great. He's eating like a pig. Should I be worried or no?

No, Lo. That is somewhat normal behaviour for a dwarf gourami. If he doesn't appear stressed, I wouldn't worry about it.

=D Always right here with answers for me.
Thanks! I kind of figured it was normal, but I remember someone telling me once that that signified stress, so I wanted to make sure. Lol I actually enjoy watching him do it. He seems so excited about something!

Lo, I'm sure I won't be able to answer all of your questions, but I think I can get you off to a great start with your 29. Just relax and take it slow. You'll do fine.

=D Thank you.
I'm less worried about my 29 than my 10 gallon, simply because it's easier to stock a 29 and I already have a few fish definately decided on for it.
The 10 may end up becoming a betta tank when I give my dad his new big tank!

I wouldn't worry about it overly.
My Dwarf did that for a month when I first got him, and my Gold did that for two. They're both very content and mellowed out now.
