Shrimp and snails?

I don't see why putting them together would pose a problem, but just to be sure--is there any adversity between shrimp and snails?

In warm water (78-80) ghost shrimp will swarm and kill of snails.

What about other shrimp besides ghosties? The ones I have are pretty mellow, I am just watching now to see if they start gobbling up my snail eggs.......snails MUST be bred around herethumbs2:

I think it's just ghosts that get nasty at higher temps.

at high temperatures, snails+ ghost shrimp = bloods + kripps. Not a nice sight.

My beeshrimp seem to leave the snails alone. I keep the tank at 24-25 degrees C.

My planted tank is room temp and includes one ghost shrimp, a bunch af algae-eating/amano shrimp, an assortment of snails, and a few assorted danios. No problems. It is cooler than 78-80F though. If the tank is room temp it sounds like the ghost shrimp and snails would be fine. I tried cherry algae eating shrimp but they slowly died off, not sure why.

My FW tank is about 74-75 degrees. My ghost shrimp leave the snail alone, unless they die, they'll clean out the shell. In fact, I had a snail outbreak and bought 3 khulie loaches to take care of the problem. I didn't start seeing empty snail shells until i added the loaches, and I have still yet to see an empty malaysian trumpet snail shell. But then again my shrimp have plenty to eat.

At higher temps ghost shrimp become more active. I barely see my ghost shrimp in my tank at 76 F.

my ghost shrimp arent aggressive or nasty at higher tamps in my tanks. they are more active and do more "hunting" for their food, but never bother any other creature.
none of my shrimps in my shrimp tank are aggressive or nasty to any other shrimps, or the snails that are in there. i have ghost, amano, bumble bee, cherry and tiger.
