hi guys recently my partner was given a catfish as a gift and i cant find anything about it at all, we have no idea what sp it is
can anybody help us out on this one?

That is an albino channel catfish. You will need a very large tank or pond to house him as they get up to 48".

Too slender to be a channel cat. Looks like an albino pictus to me. Never ever seen an albino pictus before though. Maybe Pim. pictus or Pim. ornatus?

I agree that it could be an albino pim pictus. Not sure if it could be pim. ornatus, though. Dorsal fin seems different to me.

Oh well. Always also the chance that it's a hybrid of something.

How big is it?
There is nothing out there on albino pictus. Thats what I thought it was.
What about an albino asian red tail catfish!

i found him while researching hes a albino hemibagrus nemurus
