There was nothing on this guy yesterday and today I noticed this white streak on the top on one side of my cory. Does anyone know what this is? Or what I can do about it? Here's a photo of the poor guy:

Not really sure how to describe it besides that its kinda thick at the bottom. It very flush with the fishes surface pretty much everywhere else and the and the color is mainly white at one center point at the top as well as the thicker end at the bottom. Everywhere else it's kinda faint. Almost looks like a tear drop that has ran down the side of him.

like i said im not too good with this but do you have any pimafix or melafix. if you have some it wouldnt hurt to take out the carbon and add some of that. preferable pimafix for what you described. i hope this helps

Probably the black tetras picked on him, since when they get larger like you have them, black tetras can get picky toward slower tankmates and fish with longer finnage.
Anyway fungus ONLY attacks dead cells, so the cory has received an injury, probably inflicted by one or more of the above mentioned tetras. Fungus is NOT contagious.
You should treat the affected fish per direction with an anti-fungal medication. I'd try a half-dose myself, since corys can be sensitive to meds. Fungus is easily cured, and corys usually heal quite quickly after the fungus is eliminated.
I'd also move him to another container for treatment, since it does healthy fish no good to be treated for a disease they don't have, and you can also keep a closer eye on the affected fish. Meds can also bind with your aquarium, and as they decay, can cause you unexplained problems down the road.
