Your my hero!Finally another pond guy to bs with.Beautiful fish I especially like the big platinum,they look to be in superb health with such great barbels and solid looking fin edges.Great job koi keeping.What foods do you feed?

well most of the summer i have been feeding Debride RX its a medicated food,as i have posted bafore i have had a hard summer with fish lice and ulcers. Once again the platinum white has fish lice, inbetween feeding medicated food i feed protein and color enhanced food from LFS. The debride is the greatest food i have found, cures ulcers in days, its the only thing i have found that will do that,i have lost many koi in previous years because of ulcers.:22:

Whats the temp where you are? Do you stop feeding when water is around 50 degrees?

no, the water temp is about 56 degrees right now, the TSN could not survive that.thumbs2:

No its not warm year round, the water temp is about 58 degrees now and last week it was 49 degrees.

I stop at about 45deg.I feed wheat germ food between 55 deg and 45 deg water temp.

I found this out the hard way.Dont put any other goldfish/comets in there with the koi.They will breed and produce some of the most butt ugly babys you have ever seen.
