lol He has been told numerous times that its a male!
How can you tell is the question?
Males have a pointed dorsal fin and much brighter colors!
Females have a much rounder dorsal fin.

The rounder dorsal fin is often false when dealing with dwarf gourami, whose females are usually silver or grey.
