Hey guys, do you have any suggestions for protection against fish bites?
I got little 1 inch (I believe they get 3-4 inches... or is that 5?) psuedotropheus saulosi in my tank and they are already past the point where a nip is cute... Will kitchen gloves (non-powdered, non-used) work?

I would imagine a heavy vinyl glove would work. Do they attack your hand?

I'd get a pair of aquarium gloves...

No, they attack my arm. I don't really know how to describe it without sounding obscene, but its the fleshy under part of my arm... And they are like little fish- sized welts...

The aquarium gloves are long...they'll take care of that...

My Africans used to do that...it startled me so bad one time that I jumped and knocked the hood off the tank! They used to leave red marks all over my arm at every water change. Once they get accustomed to your arm in the tank, they'll give it up. Mine did anyway...:ssmile:
