Dwarf Vs Gold.

So, if you've viewed my other thread (above) you know im getting a tank with gouramis.
My question is, should i get gold or dwarf gouramis?

I would get the gold, they get bigger and are much tougher. Dwarves can be sensative fish.

You could do 1 gold in that tank, imo. As Rich said Dwarves are kinda sensitive at times, while golds can stick up for themselves until they're big enough that other fish in there won't bother them anymore.

IMO it really depends. I love Dwarf Gourami. THough I have never had much luck finding one which wont kill everything in the tank. As for them being sensitive I have never found that much of a bother at all.

As for the Gold they are quite nice. Though IMO pearls are much better choice. Then you could get a trio of them.

I would go with the gold gourami. They are hardier and 40g is a nice amount of of room for them.
