Ive gotten away from UFC a bit in the last couple months, but will say I havent been too impressed with Shogun in the UFC. I would like to see Machida keep the belt for a while. Anyone who can make Tito look like a total slouch for 3 rounds is pretty cool in my book.

I have to say Machida takes this one in the 2-3 round. His technique is just too solid.

In MMA though anything can happen - these guys have the potental to end a fight in seconds with one well placed punch or kick and Shogun is no exception.

you right, and it dont even have to be well placed... just a lucky strike will do the trick.. there has been too many upset to really predict.. but my money goes to Machida:22:

i hate the term lucky punch. you train to punch the guy and it happens. doesnt sound like luck to me. Machida wins 4th round tko.

machida should win, if shogun comes in in great condition he has a shot, he is crazy.

I'll actually go against the grain and take Shogun Rua. They both have the ability to end a fight in a second, so its a really close call for me. Both fighters are very technically sound as well, it's just going to come down to who makes the first mistake and leaves something open.

I was actually excited for the Stevenson vs Fisher fight. Not a big-ticket fight, but I liked Stevenson up until his fight with Diego Sanchez, where he decided throwiing nothing but straight rights would in him a match when it went to the judges. Will be interesting to see if he actually put some time into preparing a gameplan and sticking to it for this fight.

From what I see, he beat Fisher via Elbows early.... Rd 2 4:02. I'll have to watch the tape.

ALSO: Can't wait for UFC 106, I want to get another look at the australian George Sotiropoulos, he's going somewhere-mark those words. Guy has got some of the best ground transitions and submissions in the UFC. He's only fighting on prelim cards right now, but you all wait.

Anthony Johnson looked really good. Did yall hear that Shoguns resting heart rate is like 42, that is amazing conditioning!!
