So....Right now my 15 is empty as i can't find Dividers for it to be a divided beta tank. So mom asked if i could transfer my beta to the Pond with juvie goldies so i said sure. So now my 15's empty. I was thinking Tiger barbs.
How many could i fit in it? and what CuC Should i get? heres my idea

6 Tigerbarbs
SAE or CAE
Crayfish?

Any ideas are welcome!

P.S. right now the 15 is setup as a growup tank for my Surviving Molly fry.

If it was me I'd just put 6-10 barbs in OR a crayfish.
What's the dimensions of the base? <- That right there IMO decides whether you can have a crayfish or not.

If it's long it's probably fine for a cray.

I would do a blue crayfish and 6 cherry barbs with black sand and black background. Barbs are the best crayfish tankmates IME.

Mm, really Jaysee? Why is that?

Their quick, darting movements and short fins make them hard to catch. Also, they sleep high in the water - any fish that sleeps near or on the bottom is doomed. The agressive edge that barbs have, in varying degrees, also aide in their survival. Also, they're cheap and easy to get.

However, the smaller the tank, the more water is within reach of the cray and the higher pobability that it may catch a fish. In a 15, I would make sure that there aren't many tall plants or decorations - they greatly extend the reach of the crayfish. The top half of the tank may need to be clear and open, depending on the nature of the specific crayfish. Oh yeah - no live plants.

Okay, the first is the 5 gallon with the dwarf cray and a betta. Next is a 29 with 13 tiger barbs and a regular crayfish. This guy is a hunter which is why the top of the tank is clear. Last 2 are of the 20H with 10 cherry barbs, a gw killi and a blue crayfish. This one is not a hunter, which is how I can get away with the decor.

You can see the reflection of the 20 at the top of the 29
