I avoid that by never having a good idea.

Im a very mellow person most of the time, very little gets to me. But people should watch their back if they mess with my cars or friends. I once in a blind rage chased an old man down that hit my car and ran, found him hiding out at a gas station....pulled in infront of him and before he could get back in his car i took his keys and made him sit there till the cops came. Old b*stard had to be driving 70 to try to outrun me. Blatant stupidity is also a huge tick off, especially those classic "dumb blonde" women who have the IQ of a piss ant on a good day.

I really try not to be so easily irritated, but it's hard! I'm just too good at being easily annoyed (blush)

Some things that really drive me up the wall are people driving waaay too slow, people who chew with their mouth open or smack chewing gum, people who walk slowly in stores and are hard to get around (one of these days, I may push one of them!), friends who try and be too competitive with each other (I think this is a girl / woman thing, but I hate it -- not enough women get that one person's success does not take away from their own).

That hot dog rolls come in bags of 8 but franks come in packs of 10. You have to buy 8 of each for it to even out:cussingwhite:

Oh, and people that abuse the environment, people weaker than they are, animals, and their position.

The "Call Waiting" option that some people have with their phone service...I HATE being told "Hang on, I've got a beep"....:rapidfire:

people that "know better". you know what i am talking about! those people who are supposed to be intelligent, and then they get ready to do something and say: "I propubly shouldnt do that." YOU ARE RIGHT!!! YOU SHOULDNT!!! FREAKIN A!!! that is one of the main things that tick me off.

People who tell me I'm wrong when I KNOW I'm right (and can prove it).

Robo-calls that tell you "Please stand by for an important message" when you answer the phone, then put you on HOLD.

Call waiting (Sharon, I'm with you on this).

Pushy and/or unhelpful salespeople.

People who have nothing better to do than think of ways to make other people miserable. Think hackers and virus creators: If you're that talented, use your abilities CONSTRUCTIVELY, not destructively.

There are so many things...lol...

Here's one:

People who think they're a god and leave their shopping cart blocking isles in grocery stores, Costco, places like that...why should I have to wait, or ask you to move and then get glared at when I finally get fed up and move your d*amned cart for you?

I should bill...for cart-moving services...

I hate hearing, "I wish I could stay home with my kids too, but we just can't afford it. *slurp of Starbucks latte* You're so lucky!"

This almost always comes from moms I know whose husbands I'm pretty sure make about the same money as mine does (same industry, similar experience level); they just choose to live much more extravagently than we do. Make your own choices, by all means, but don't act like I didn't have to make choices too. I have nothing against working moms; it's just that particular attitude that makes me mad.

Ooooh...That's a good one! It makes me mad just thinking about when it used to happen to me!!! Some people would rather work, to be honest. It's easier than being home all day with the children!!! Then it gets worse when they say they couldn't take the boredom, and they feel as if their brain is not being challenged!!!

Problem is, as I found out, that as soon as anyone hears that you're a 'stay at home Mom' their interest in you disappears entirely and you become invisible.

I was fine being home. And if I had to do it again, I would. But I hated 'not counting' - even banks, other institutions dismiss you since you're not a wage earner.

I lost my sense of identity those years.

Still having an identity crises since the work I do can't be summed up in one word...(like Doctor or Lawyer or Merchant Chief) :sconfused: :fish2: :help:

I'm ok with people who say they'd rather work. I don't understand it and it's certainly not the choice I would make, but at least they're being honest. I just don't like it when people won't acknowledge that they'd rather have a nice house and a new car and maybe a nice plasma TV than stay home with their kids.

The people who say they'd be bored at home do kind of annoy me. The only reason you'd be bored is if you're not creative enough to think of things to do or you're too lazy to keep yourself busy. There's so much to do, and there's a whole world out there!

Bad manners make me SO angry!

Rue

Yup. Me too. I'm starting to wonder though, if people even know what all constitutes bad manners?

I hate when people yawn without covering their mouths for example...I don't wanna see up your head - but I'm pretty sure many people don't know that that is rude...

Problem is, as I found out, that as soon as anyone hears that you're a 'stay at home Mom' their interest in you disappears entirely and you become invisible.

That does happen sometimes, and it's definitely annoying. On the other hand, I love that because my schedule is flexible, I can make a hobby of harassing anyone who needs it. We had a nasty hailstorm this spring that punched holes in our vinyl siding, which came with a lifetime warranty. The company kept dragging its feet, so after a few months I started calling them weekly and then daily to see when they might be coming out. When I mentioned the Better Business Bureau, they gave me the cell phone number of their supplier and claimed it was all his fault, so he became the next addition to my speed dial. He was able to get that siding pretty quickly when he put his mind to it. That'll teach him to ignore a stay-at-home mom. :hmm3grin2orange:

Oh yes! I've had to have a flexible scheduale too...what with hubby travelling as much as he does (and that applies whether I'm at home or working). I don't know how families cope...when both parents have inflexible scheduales. For example, I can't have the type of job hubby has - what would we do if we were both away for business at the same time? :sconfused:

But those kind of reasons (for staying home, working part-time, etc.) aren't considered important by the world at large...moreso's the pity.

I cover my mouth when I yawn! Bad manners-wise, it annoys me when you're in a group of people having a conversation and one person ALWAYS has to talk and never lets other people get in a word edgewise. You know how it goes: there's a pause so you start to say, "Well I think--" and suddenly that person is talking at full volume again. Ugh!

Or you start to say something, and someone interrupts you to finish your sentence, like they KNOW what you're going to say!!

My husband is notorious for that, and he's usually off base with his assumption of what I was going to say. What really tees him off, is that I'll say what he was going to say, BEFORE he even starts to say it, and I'm right!

I guess I'm the better mind reader of the family...:hmm3grin2orange:

I hate angry drivers... " You wouldn't yell at an old man at the grocery store like that".
