Thanks. They've been in the tank a couple hours and STILL are flying around like little atoms! LOL.

I KNOW they're loving their new home! Plenty of plants... soft sand (they like) and lots of other friendly kids to play with (though at this point they've shown no interest in the other kids)....

I'm going to get some real pictures when (if) they slow down a bit... LOL... I'm just in love with these little guys! thumbs2:

Hmm... I'll need a faster camera then... LOL. I prefer taking photos without flash... but daaayum.... that's going to be impossible with these little suckers since without the flash the shutter speed's SOOO slow... LOL

I have a group of 5 that I hardly ever see. They spend most of their time under cover among the driftwood with the pleco's.

I've not been able to sleep so I decided to do a water change. The loaches WERE sleeping, but they're wide awake now and flying around the tank like little nutrons again LOL. Glad I got 3 of them, they hardly ever sepereate!

Man, I do kinda wish that they'd slow down a bit! They're non-stop back and forth back and forth! I still haven't seen them slow down enough to eat! I'm hoping that they'll eat flakes, but I also have black worms that I feed to that tank.

Will they eat flake food?

toddnbecka

Mine eat whatever I drop in, several different flakes and NLS pllets. They really like frozen bloodworms...

They're finally starting to slow down a bit. For the first few days they were swimming back and forth like little atoms! Those pictures were taken with them flying around full speed. Now they should be much easier to photograph. Oh, they've also started eating!

So far they are totally happy and spend a lot of time swimming through the driftwood hole that runs the length of the piece of wood.

Do you know if they're sensitive to ick meds?

If you are not sure use only half doses.
Not sure if they are sensitive or not to the meds.My guess is yes.

Awesome shots Mith!thumbs2:

Same as any other scaleless fish, Jungle does make Ich med for them though.

Thanks for the info.... I asked because one of my guppies had a couple spots (looked like ick) so I quarantined him with melafix and pimafix... he lost the spots in two days... not even sure it was ick... but I didn't wanna take a chance with my dots in the tank... nobody else in the tank's sick as far as I can tell...
