This is my first time with saltwater and I've set up a 10-gallon FOWLR tank. It's cycled now and I'm ready to stock. My lfs says I should stock it with no more than 3 fish. I'd like to hear some member's recommendations for 3 compatible fish for a 10-gallon FOWLR tank.

Honestly Im not sure I would keep 3 fish in there, 2 would be a much better number.

A combination of a Firefish, smaller Gobies, a Cardinalfish, Percula/Ocellaris Clown would be preferable choices. Personally for the tank I would do a Purple Firefish and a Yellow Watchman Goby.

i would only have maybe an oscelaris and maybe a mandarin goby.

Mandarin gobies are poor choices in all but large well established tank systems as they feed almost strictly on copepods living in the rock. It would take atleast 75lbs of good live rock to support 1 mandarin for any length of time.

What about Damselfish and Cardinalfish?
