for my fluval, ive seen those ammonia absorbing chips you can place in the filter.

I have no ammonia problems, but can you put it in anyways? Apparently its a debate if you can put it in without high ammonia

If you have no ammonia issues, don't put it in.

It doesnt make sense why the product was made. really the best way to get rid of ammonia is water changes, so its kind of useless. All im using is carbon, sponges, and ceramic rings in the fluval

I took out my carbon in my Fluval, and put in some filter floss. My water has never been clearer!
