Doubt its an ingrown - they tend to expand horizontally (along skin surface when infected).
That sucker looked deep.

my two pennies is its a staph infection. been their done that got the scars. and from what i was told squeszing it is the worst thing you can do!!! and yes an infection like that can start from an ingrown hair.

If it wasn't a staph infection before that I'd bet $100 it was after! IND should be done in a doctor's office, with proper sanitation and flushing to make sure there is no further infection. Not smart to do so at home.

Looks like an absess to me...should have been done at the docs I agree. Hopefully that woman is a nurse and brought home a sterile scalpel and some items to deal with it. Either way....she must really freakin love that guy to do that, not sure I could ever deal with that.....
Spread a little of that on some white bread....add some ham and I'm good to go!

There was a guy come in the bar one time when I was working and he was going nuts over this boil he had on his back. He was in misery. I took him to the back room and jammed a sterilzed needle in it and it was awful. I never saw so much green gunk in my life.
Can't remember if he left me a tip or not. lol He sure was happier when he left having that thing drained.
Not too long ago, I had three bumps under my left arm pit. The doctor (nice asian lady) looked at them and asked me why I waited so long to come in. I guess my whole armpit was red because of the infection.
So she says that she needed to lance them immediately and drain them. So she proceded to jam numbing needles into my arm!!! YES it hurt!. As she continued, I felt goo streaming down my side (e[Only Registered Users Can See Links.]). That was the easy part.
After packing them with gauze (which was fine because it was already numb).....she said I needed to come back to have the gauze changed out. No problem right, they numb it first......NOT!!!!!!!!! OMG, when they changed the gauze, they pulled out the old puss-soaked gauze and then, with NO numbing stuff, jammed MORE gauze into each open wound!
PAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love videos like that. Sugery, you name it, I'll watch it.
Actually it's a sebaceous cyst. My dad used to have one on his back, until finally actually went to the Dr about it. I remember many a time as a kid watching mum squeeze all the gunk out of it and by jeepers does it STINK. Never smelt anything like it!!! They just keep coming back unless you actually go to the Dr and get it cut out properly, the cyst sack and everything. Even then some people can be just prone to them.
I've seen quite a few end up in hospital to get them cut out because of how big they have gotten or where they are located.
Mith that sounds soooo painful!!! Mind you if they hadn't of drained them it would have been worse. Doesn't stop it from hurting though.

I just hope they cleaned that correctly at the end of it all. (but I doubt it... they didn't do anything else right) To do stuff like this at home isn't a big deal you just need to use your head. The no gloves was the first thing I noticed.

my wife totally gets off on stuff like this video and wouldnt let me have the computer back until she watched every second of it!!! i also made my daughter watch it as a plug for personal hygiene, as hers is lacking!!!

I had a poisonous spider bite on my fore arm that I got sleeping on the floor in a nasty florida motel that swolled up as big as a golfball on my arm. I went to the doctor they lanced it and it looked about like that but green and at the end two little black fangs fell out and all the skin died around it still have a nasty scar there.
Still friggin gross. If your trying to lose weight; when you are hungry watch this.
