My live NH3 monitor was starting to act funny so I went out and bought an API ammonia test kit today. I test my water, go to match up the colors...and whaddaya know...There are 2 color cards in my kit! What makes it even better is the 2 color cards DO NOT match! :19: (can you sense the sarcasm?) Anyway, if color card #1 is correct, I have 0 ammonia and if color card #2 is correct then I have .25 ammonia. Anybody have this same kit (Aquarium Pharmaceuticals), and if so are your shades of green on your card more in the bright, neon shades, or the dull, mossy shades? Thanks.

I think this one is permanent...I've been told that it has life-long effects.

Yah know...I've always thought I was a fairly smart person. I mean, I'm definitely no genious, but I did well in college so there are SOME smarts up there. But I tell you what, its amazing what hormones will do to ya and I can only imagine how much worse it will get with kids, so I will just get used to it now and probablly ask a bunch more "stupid" (or obvious) questions, so ya'll will just have to get used to it :hmm3grin2orange:
By the way, thanks for the "book" Drumachine, maybe that will help me read the obvious, bold, black letters :11:
