Is this hair algae? And what kind of fish are going to eat this? I got 5 otos who won't even go near the stuff

Algae is the fuzzy stuff on the moneywort

Yes and my ottos wouldn't eat it either. Same plant was always a problem for me, too. Bacopa seems to be a hair algae magnet.

As Lady Hobbs said, that's definintely hair algae. My ottos won't eat it either, at least once it gets long. What other fish do you have in that tank? My platies eat it if I skip a feeding, as do my cherry barbs, angelfish, and even the betta. My ghost shrimp loves it too - though he's quick to give up on it if other food sources are available. Maybe skipping a feeding would help. If not, spraying hydrogen peroxide on it gets rid of it. Just don't exceed 3mL/gallon a day.

Rosy barbs will eat it.

Mollies will pick at it too. You could remove it and maybe lessen your lighting period a bit.

got 100 cherries in there cleaning everything BUT that plant. I just got back from the LFS and got a true SAE, hopefully he'll help. If he does anything, I'll get another one soon
