a week ago my timer on my lights broke and a few of my wisteria started to brown. since then i got a bunch of new plants and a new timer. anyway my mom stoped by the house and she has a great green thumb and she suggested that i prune the wisteria that was brown. she said that she would have cut them pretty low but was scared to tell me to do it because she didnt know if aquarium plants would benifit the trimming as her garden plants would. do the same green thumb rules apply and as a side not the wisteria is now growing green at the top. should i leave it alone because they are recovering well or should i take my moms home gardning tips.

Definetly remove the old browning leaves. Let the plants work on growing new ones.

Should I just remove the leaves or should I cut the whole plant shorter
