OH CRAP, parasite?

i was just looking at my betta. He has a little white dot on his side, and there is a little bit of a light spot around it. Did he just scrape himself or is it a parasite?

its a little white dot that is kinda a bump, probably sticks out a very tiny bit

can he handle salt? if he can, i'll hospital him. I cant have the whole tank infested

it would be close to impossible for a pic. Theres so many darned plants, and the dot is tiny
