OK, I we had a total blackout in our city last night. When the power came on it seems that my air pump is not pumping much air.

When I gently press on it against the floor or squeeze it between my hands it pumps out more air.

How do I clean the pump? Is the air intake under one of the rubber feet?

There is a hole on the bottom that looks like it has a filer in it, would that be the intake?

Thanks

You will have to take the screws out of the bottom and take it apart.
Inside there is a diaphram that will need replacing. It is held on by a screw through the center.Just get a new one at your lfs, many sell the repair parts. If you cannot get the name brand of yours, just match one up to it to be sure on the size.Take your diaphram with you,it will make life easier.
Its an easy fix. Thats what I did for some older ones I was given. They work great now.

Is it worth it to try and fix these things or should I just buy a new one? New ones are less than $15

If you are not comfortable with fixing it then get a new one.I like the aqua clear silent run pumps.
They are easy to fix if you can get the right size diaphram. It should only take about 15 minutes.
