One of the beaches for snorkeling is Ulua Beach in Maui. We went here with some rented snorkeling gear(realized shortly after going in that these vests to help us float are really not needed since you float well with your head underwater anyways..anyways the highlight for me was the puffer fish. I kept following it...at times I think the water was pushing me toward it, which was scary..i thought I would scare it into blowing up and get stabbed lol...so here they are :

Thats awesome! I miss scuba diving I used to do it a lot when I lived in florida but since I moved up to Illinois I lost interest because the only places to dive are scary murky lakes. I'd take sharks over scary murky cold lakes any day.

yah, the only reason I haven't gotten certified in Scuba...and won't be hard, my friend is certified in everything scuba lol..and can teach me. But all we have is lake mead..nothing much there. If I did live somewhere more interesting for scuba diving, I would have though in a heartbeat!

Nice pics!
It looks like a fun time!Fresh water diving is fun in spring fed lakes. They are much more clear.
Nobodynotime what is scary that is in the lakes?
There are no crocs or anything like that near you is there?

The unknown, getting lost, getting disoriented and thinking up is down, not being able to see your hand in front of your face, man eating catfish, finding a dead body with cinderblocks tied to it...you know the usual.
No crocs in illinois, atleast none that I'm aware of.
