I have a 20L tank and i have 48 watts of T5 and I have hair algae like crazy. All the rocks, plants, and glass r growing like crazy and idk wat to do. What can i do to eliminate some of this hair algae.

I went through this problem as well with our 20 long. I couldn't get rid of the stuff for good until I started using DIY CO2 and doing daily dosing of ferts. Before that, I was in there everyday with a freaking toothbrush.

I agree you need CO2 and ferts. You need to give your plants the edge to out compete the algae.

lol thats what im doing now getting in there with a toothbrush to try to scrape it off...ill c wat i do

is there any fish or snail that i can get that eats hair algae?

Don't know about snails, but my oto's didn't touch the stuff. A true Siamese Algae Eater would probably take care of it. They're hard to find, but we did manage to find a place that carries them here. We have one in our 36 and he's great, but I probably wouldn't keep one in a 20 gallon as they do get a bit large. The one in our 36 is currently longer than our Dwarf Gourami.

IMO, your best bet is to get your plants to outcompete the algae.
