Hi, I had started my interest in oscar fish about a year ago.
Currently, I have a tank measuring 48" X 20"(tall) X 17", about 70 Gallons with an juvenile oscar (2"), and 4 silver dollars (2"-3"). I'm running the tank with a canister filter 1400L/H, an internal filter, an internal UV sterilizer.
Question: Is this overstocked?

What is an internal filter?
75g is minimum for a single oscar in my book, so I think you'll be fine, but I wouldn't add any more fish then what you have listed.

It is not to bad, it may get a bit crowded as the fish grow. By normal standards you will be overstocked when the fish are adults.

Welcome to the Fabulous AC!
As said you will be overstocked in a year or so!
Your water changes should be large and more than once a week as they get bigger!
You might want to start looking for bigger tank options. There are plenty of great used deals on Craig's list!
