Finally got a pic of my bumblebee cat. I say finally because he is tiny, only about an inch and half, and loves to hide in the thickest parts of my planted tank. He was spooked out of his spot when I was rearranging a couple plants and has settled behind a suction cup that isn't quite attached to the glass. I hope he stays there because I'd never get to see him otherwise, and plus he's such a cool looking fish.

Hi, Are you putting any special food in the tank for the BBee Cat ? I am considering getting one of these guys.
Thanks

I have one of these guys in my 55 gallon. I can see him at feeding times under the driftwood lurking. Sometimes he comes out real fast and fetches a morsel. He loves the Hikari Carnivore Pellets and a good share of the Swordtail fry! He is a South American Bumblebee Catfish. They are a better fit for a community tank than the Asian kind. He is now 3 in (also wider especially his mouth) after one year, was tiny like yours when I got him.
