Just wanted to introduce myself to the community.
I'm 34 years old and am from Vernon BC, Canada.
Anyway, I've had aquariums ever since I was a young lad, couldn't imagine life without one.
At present I've got a 29g that's just finished re-cycling. I had a few gorgeous Malawi Cichlids in there and was hoping to have my 90g set up by the time they out grew the smaller tank, but that didn't happen, so my LFS took them in for adoption.
I've got 10 Head & Tail Light Tetras and 10 Zebra Danios in right now, and hope you guys can give me some interesting suggestions for a bit of color to throw in there. I'm not too keen on Platies or Mollies and maybe thinking about a couple of Ram Cichlids, but not to sure yet. Perhap's a few Blue Gouramis or Angels would bring a bit of colour into the tank? I've got lot's of filteration and flow in there, so it,ll be safe to overstock the tank a bit.
I've also got a 10g that I'll be turning into a nano-reef tank, which will be my first attempt at saltwater, so I'm pretty excited about that. But, still lots of reading to get me started with.
I'm looking forward to being an active member of the community and hope that my experiences and knowledge will be of some contribution to some. Just don't be to hard on me if my advice/opinion's are different then most, like most things in life, I'm still learning something new everyday.
Until then,
Patrick :22:
