I am pretty sure I'm ready to get rid of my bloodfins. I will keep the neons and continue to add to that school.
I still plan on getting dwarf cichlids, not sure which yet, but I started looking at dwarf gouramis(sorry if spelling wrong) My question is would dwarf gouramis be a good addition to my community?
Or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

One male dwarf gourami would be fine. Do not listen to advice saying you can keep 2 females with one male. The male will mate with them, then try to kill them if they approach the eggs. Two dwarf males will also probably fight over territory. You do have a large tank, so two males could live peacefully together, but don't do it unless you want to risk finding dead fish.

Thanks for the quick answer, I think I just want a single flashy looking fish to replace the bloodfins. I don't think I would want to worry about breeding, just something that will get along with the neons and cichlids I end up going with.

I'm not 100% positive on how dwarfs get along with cichs, but I know there have been -some- reports of success. Google or wait for a second opinion on that part, otherwise you're fine. Good luck!
