Right now, Rams Horn and pond snails are making Swiss cheese out of my leaves. Oh, yes, they will eat live plants even if there's algae in a tank. These do anyway.

hi Fishesses , i never have snails in the tanks, just from beginning, but now they are all gone , weird. my setup it 40 gal , Eco-Complete Plant Substrate. 4x 36 watts T5 light. no CO2 , no fertilizer.

here is 3 day after , the bulb getting bigger:19:

Cool! How old is that plant and did you start it from a bulb? How deep did you plant the bulb?

the plant is about 7 moths old, i'm not start it from a bulb , is already have some leave when i bought it. my gravel is about 5 cm deep .

here come after 6 days

Thanks for sharing this with us, I have what is quickly becoming too many tiger lotuses in my tank. I'm looking forward to seeing it open up, great plant :22:

Thanks guys, the bulb is close in the day light. i guess it only open at night time. I will post more picture for the second bulb later, i think it will take 2 weeks like the first one.
