purple thai devil crab

So my dad brought home a thai devil crab and asked me if I wanted it, I said yes. But the crab diddn't come home with a tank and I can't get a new tank. So I ended up having to take the red crayfish back to the lfs and put the crab in the cray tank which made me some what mad. So I got the crab it's nickname is eggplant because it's color is similar to an eggplant, and it's a male. I am happy with the crab it's just that it was a hard choice, but my dad said that I should keep the crab and stuff and I am happy with my choice. it's just that taking the cray home kinda got me mad. Here are some pics of him, he's giant like goliath or something!:22: Lol.

Oops! Forgot to add:11: : it's already eaten. And the white clouds I have in their have not been eaten yet, I thought they would of been eaten by now! I got the crab about five days ago. And he's awesome!!!!!:18:

The first pic is a shot of him eating some bloodworms and the second pic is a shot of him eating some cooked chicken! I had to tweezer feed him the chicken. The first feeding pic is from the first day I got him and the second feeding pic was taken when I fed him today.

Is it fully aquatic?Yeah it's fully aquatic, but it can come out of the water. I will be getting more stuff to put in the tank soon, I have been seeing a lot of cool stuff that I can put in the tank lately.

Here are some pics of him eating the remains of a feeder goldy(eggplants hunting skills aren't so great so I had to get the goldfish out of the water and pick the goldy up by his body with the tweezers and put it in front of the crab:hmm3grin2orange:)

The only <special> invert that i ve seen is a blue lobster at my Big Al's local store...i think you r crab looks amazing !

I just went in my room and was looking at the goldfish and saw that one of the goldys went under eggplant and eggplant grabbed it and pushed it in with his legs and then he grabbed him with his claw and started eating him, so I guess eggplant caught his first meal!thumbs2: :19: :18:

Im all out of feeder goldys now, he ate the last one. I just cleaned the tank right now, lol when he was eating the goldy the white clouds were hoarding them selfs right in front of eggplant so that they could eat some of the godly, and eggplant waved one of his claws back and forward trying to scare them away and then he chased after the white clouds. I will be going to the lfs in about ten minutes so I can get some more feeder goldys and mabye some more white clouds.

Sorry to make a immediate post after another but I renivated eggplants tank, heres a pic. I drilled a hole into the pipe and put the fake plant there, and then I took some of the branches off the fake plant and tied them onto the green climbing thing with a plastic twisty(I made sure that their were no sharp edges on the end of the twisty)and then I tied one on to the fake coral thing.
