There are several I still want BAD!

I will be happy if I can get the giant danio, the congo tetra and this rasbora.

[Only Registered Users Can See Links.] ([Only Registered Users Can See Links.])NEW! ULTRA RARE FISH! Galaxy Rasbora Microrasbora sp. Galaxy

I love the rasbora's. Currently have the red-tail and have never lost one and they stay very active in a tank. But this one above........wow.

I would like some rainbows, as well, and of course two Severums. Then, and only then, I will be happy. LOL

for me, my wish list is probably impossible, but i want a 10,000G tank with some of the fish from the DEEEEEPPEEESSTT parts of the ocean, where its pitch black. All those fish are weird and scary.

I wouldnt mind a gulper shark either. I used to have terrible nightmares about em after seeing one. Theyre dark blue, blackish, and are insanely scary looking.

for real life, id go with a actual electric eel. They can fit into 200g tanks. as for smaller fish i'd want, i would buy a stingray but i dont have 300$ to fork over for one.

I want my Nics again :(
Other then that, I would love a saltwater tank with a seahorse. I would also love some cardinal tetras. A Zebra pleco would be nice too (the real kind).

Thats right too. a LFS had a mini octopus, and i was ready to buy one, but for 80$ they only live for 3 months. Dogface puffers are cool too. I also want a lionfish.

Lady Hobbs

Come to think of it, a sailfin pleco would be nice as well.

Fish santa, huh? As I struggle just to buy lights! LOL

I know. since chronas a troll, maybe we can clone him 100 times, and have 100 trolls working in a mine in your house, then you can sell whatever they find for money, equaling fish to be fishy santa!

Nuuuuuu don't buy the galaxy rasboras. Wait until domestic breeding catches up. They are almost extinct due to overfishing and the fact that we can't breed them well yet :X

That being said, I want discus.

And an oscellaris clownfish

Just one: Oscar

But since I can't afford a large enough tank, it will remain a wish :(

The only things left on my list of fish to own one day are all cichlids - Texas, Jaguar, Umbee, Dovii, and Peacock Bass, and I don't think there's a chance in hell of me ever getting any of the last three

Lady Hobbs
04-03-2007, 02:24 PM
Oh yes, I forget the Discus.

I've gone back and forth in my thoughts about cichlids for months. If I had a large tank, I would love the peacocks. However, I have read that only one male should be with all females in a 55 gallon and 2 possibly in a 75 gallon. They really are lovely fish but that would leave only one or two of the most colorful in a tank. I believe if I was to try these fish, I would go with an all male tank.

Then I thought of Labs and Haps for some time. Then my thoughts went to Dwarfs. Guess it's just as well I can't make up my mind because I have no tank for them anyway right now anyway.

On my wishlist would have to be

Kribensis- We have those at the LFS where I work and I always spend an extralong time cleaning the water marks off the front of their tank

Ramerezi Cichlids - I love these little guys with their Mohawk but my water is too hard for them, we have them at my work though

And I have to agree with Hobbs,

Galaxy rasboras - currently fish of the week with a 50% discount so with my employee discount I could get them for £2 each :)

I would love to have a nice community semi-aggressive SW tank. About 100 gallons or so with a living reef, anenomes, some blue and yellow tangs, butterfly fish, wow. My life would be complete with a impressive SW tank!

I'm with Chrona on the oscellaris clownfish. But I don't have a SW tank. One of those nano cubes would be cool with the upgraded light fixture for coral growing. He could have his own anenome. The false ones that are black are pretty neat too! I also want a mantis shrimp, but he needs his own home.
But in the most close to home reality, i want so yoyo loaches and more neon tetras. My lfs didnt have the loaches in for their sale, and they dont have them in now. waiting...waiting...

L-046 is on the top of my list, followed closely by a river tank full of hillstream loaches.

I guess you always want what you can't have. I wouldn't dare keep a group of L-046, or if I did, I wouldnt dare leaving the tank to work or sleep :p

And to keep hillstream loaches I would need airconditioning (waterconditioning?) to keep the temperature low enough during the summer.

I want a King Salmon.

Your point is?

I would like a dragon wrasse, or a lunar wrasse. Both Beautiful fish.

A mandrin goby would be cool too, but, it would be hard to provide enough cocepods for it to survive.

Voliton lions are also cool.

As for fresh water:

A FW stingray tank would be cool.

Before my LFS closed, they had local seahorses.

Cold water salt aquarium, and since my parents have a beachhouse, easy to get stuff!

But they looked so wonderful...

I would probably want either a florida gar, fully grown oscar, fire eel ( or any eel), or a birchir :).. I love long fish lol.

Fire eels are awesome!!!
My wish list contains fish I've already had but had to give up for one reason or another. So for me, a fire eel and a picasso trigger (not in the same tank LOL!) discus too.....
I have to say that my MTS is in remission right now. I have no desire to start up another tank - in fact I have an empty 40g, 7g and 5g just laying around...weird huh?

i've always wanted a small octopus or a small squid or cuttlefish. i also have this huge fascination with having my very own shark...something in the 3 foot range would do nicely i dare say.

i'd like to have the wall between my living room and dining room be one large saltwater fish tank some day.

I read that too, Chrona. I was close to buying some that I saw at a LFS here but I'm glad I didn't. They are so pretty though. No wonder they are overfished.

Still waiting for my severums. Am torn between festiums, blue acara or ?? to put with them. I would also love to have a Rainbow tank. I think the rainbows are awesome, colorful fish. I just might be able to turn my 55 into a rainbow tank if I can find a place for the ANGELS.

Giant sail fin mollies, four eyed fish, some type of a bass, a parrot fish, and a needle-nosed gar.

I could probably say that i have tried every single freshwater fish.

I have 3 2 meter x 1 meter tanks
1 1 meter x 1 meter tank
1 .75 meter x .75 meter tank

My favorites so far are the discus, but i have just started.
Parrot fish would have to be my 2nd favorite. But, they are man made and they cant breed lol.

Hoping my discus will mate soon =)
