LOL, don't what what's up with Okka this morning, but he must have got out of the wrong side of bed!!!!

When ever you go near the tank, he attacks you! LOL
Swims up and bangs intot he glass iwth his mouthh wide open. The kids think it is hilarious. They put their hand up to the tank and he goes them, or they pop their head up from under the tank and he goes them, he even tried to attack me as I was cleaning the glass:hmm3grin2orange:

Here's a couple of pics of him, couldn't time it to get him attacking, but hey!

That is normal with oscars.
I used to have one that would try to attack me everytime I put my hand or anything in the tank.
He was a real ornery Oscar! lol He drew blood at least twice a month.
If he gets a hold of the side of your wrist or hand it gonna hurt!lol
I would hate to see a kids finger get bit. These fish can bite!

Yep, Oscar bites suck! Mine have layed eggs and if something doesn't eat them by the end of the day I will have to dive in there and remove them...which will probably include a bite from the female. Nice O tho:22:

My Oscar, Hoover (man did he suck up FOOD) essentially killed himself because he attacked the heater. I hadn't put a guard on it unfortunately, and one day I came home from work and found the heater smashed and Hoover dead.

Electrocuted himself. He was 13" of ATTITUDE.

I've never actually been bitten by my Okka, LOL, he's never even looked like biting or trying to bite before, must have just had a bad day, he seems to be back to normal today. Well not quite still a little testy (Lally the gibby has her fin up everytime she comes out and Okka gets down low and just looks at her:hmm3grin2orange: )

Thanks for the compliments, I reckon he's a good looking O too, hehehehe. Do you know I had absolutely no idea what an Oscar was when I got him?? Soon fell in love though. Hubby brought him home for me for Christmas a few years ago. I had the 2 55G that had been built in and set up for a couple of months and all I had in them was 2 Silver Dollars a bristlenose and a betta. So he decided that I could use a few more fish. So along came Okka, as well as black widow tetras, serpae tetras and a silver shark. Didn't that fill the tanks quickly!! Then I got more a couple of days later from the in laws... Have taught them not to buy me fish anymore though. A gift certificate it better, then I can get what is suitable!
